OUR PASTOR
Pastor Kevin D. Nick is a 15 year resident of Atlanta, GA and a native of Huger, SC which sits about 13 miles of the out skirts of Charleston, SC. Pastor Nick is a Powerful Preacher, Prophet, Singer, Song Writer and Musician. A man of Prayer, A man of Power and that with might. Pastor Nick accepted Christ at an early age under the ministry of Apostle Helen R. Kinloch. It was through this ministry that Pastor Nick's musical ability was fully developed. It was also through this ministry that Pastor Nick was fully exposed to ministry with signs and wonders following. This birthed a greater expectation for the things of God. In 1996 Pastor Nick moved to Atlanta GA, where he joined the Gospel Temple COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Richard (Mr. Clean) White. It was through this ministry that God gave Bishop White a mandate to pull out of him everything that was embedded. It was through this ministry that Pastor Nick was introduced and served actively in The Church of God In Christ. Just to name a few, Pastor Nick served with The National Evangelism Department, The International C.O.G.I.C Music Department and the Central Georgia Music Department. Pastor Nick has been favored to minister in song with some of the World’s greatest, to include Bishop Richard (Mr. Clean) White, J. Moss, Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, The Late James Moore, Shirley Caesar Williams, Kim Burrell, Donnie, Judith McAllister and etc. In 2002 after being led by God Pastor Nick Joined the Citadel of Hope Evangelistic Church of God In Christ under the awesome leadership Of the Late Pastor and Prophet Nathan L. Simmons. It was there that God added the finishing touch. Being taught by one of the greatest in this army, Pastor Nick was taught how to Pray without wavering. It was imparted in him the Prophetic Mantel of Prophet Simmons. It was through this Man Of God, Pastor Nathan L. Simmons in which Pastor Nick accredits his stance and his boldness along with his preaching ability.
In April 2008 Pastor was shifted from prophesy to manifestation and because of the shift the Higher Dimensions church of Atlanta was birthed. With 6 faithful members at the time Pastor pushed ministry with excellence along with ministry with demonstration and power. It indeed heightened our endeavors to take the Gospel from the neighborhood to the nations. In 2009 God allowed yet another promotion in the Lords service. Pastor Nick was elevated to Jurisdictional Overseer and first Administrative assistant to Chief Apostle Q.S. Caldwell and the North Georgia Jurisdiction of the Celebration of Praise Ministries Inc. In Jan. 2011 Overseer Nick was sat aside by the General Board of The C.O.P Churches for the Purpose of being nurtured and trained for the office of Bishop in the Lords Church. Bishop Nick then took the office of Jurisdictional Bishop of the Greater Atlanta N.E. Jurisdiction C.O.P.. Bishop Nick’s goal is simple to reach the Lost at any cost and to hear servant of God Well Done!!!
OUR CHURCH
The Higher Dimensions Church International Inc... Affectionately known as HDCI, is a church built on the primace of much Prayer, Fasting and the Word of God. In the month of January 2008 a great burden was impressed upon the heart of then Elder Kevin D. Nick to radically reach out to young men and women boldly expressing the love of Christ in what many would consider a lost world. It is at this point that God would allow Elder Nick to connect with Men battling with the strong hold of Crack cocaine thus ushering them into a place of understanding the power of God that has been placed within them. The real Ministry began in January 2008, with no name, no charter, no building, no finances, no pulpit, and no members. It was a great faith walk into something not even planned out. Elder Nick along with a spiritual Son, Min. Roosevelt Cobb III joined him in this cause of winning souls for the kingdom, labored daily doing the works of him that had sent us sometimes with weariness in heart. While sitting at the computer one rainy evening in Decatur, the Lord whispered the name Higher Dimensions in my spirit. On April 15th 2008, Higher Dimensions Church of Atlanta was birthed and introduced to the Metro Atlanta area with the Faith Apostolic Deliverance Church 1840 Thomasville Dr. Atlanta, Ga. being our Home under the leadership of Apostle Joseph Floyd in whom the word of confirmation concerning HDC’s conception was received. It was there that Higher Dimensions experienced its first rise and fall of ministry. HDC quickly grew from 2 members to 27 in a matter of days. With its growth and potential other doors were opened to this new ministry therefore shifting us to another location located literally on the outskirts of Atlanta’s Historical AUC Center.
Higher Dimensions saw it as an opportunity to take this young radical ministry to 950 Cunningham Pl. Atlanta, Ga. It was there that we found fertile ground and Higher Dimensions took on new meaning in the city. The growth of the ministry doubled in a very short time there in the AUC area. After our two year celebration Higher Dimensions received news that we thought would change our ministry for the worst. The building in which we worshipped had been sold causing Higher Dimensions to move once again. In the middle of wonderful growth, and much success in ministry we feared that this new move would scar us with the image of being unstable. The doors were opened by Apostle Frank and Virginia Booker and room was prepared for us at the Center of Faith Church 2622 Snapfinger Rd. Decatur, Ga. This was the move that put us on edge; never doing ministry in the Decatur area the thought presented a challenge in our mindset. Well the Good News is, that the bad news was wrong!! Decatur ushered us into being a fully operative ministry in its City. It was here that our Television & Radio Broadcasts was birthed, having over 3000 viewers every Thursday night on T.V. 57 and a listening audience of over 1500 with 1480 WYZE. This God given exposure thrust the Higher Dimensions Church to what the church community would consider mainstream Ministry with a 2nd Ministry being established in West Palm Beach Fl. And 23 churches in Africa, coming under the umbrella of Higher Dimensions, shifting from 50 members in 2009 to 110+ members in 2010 and causing a name change from Higher Dimensions Church Of Atlanta to the Higher Dimensions Church International Inc. After severe weather damage to 2622 Snapfinger Rd., and a major split in ministry, it led us to relocate to our current location which is located at 2856 Belvedere Ln. Decatur, Ga. 30032, the City Of Refuge C.O.G.I.C.. Coming in as more of a support system to help that ministry in the midst of their financial storm, Higher Dimensions became the dominant ministry utilizing its facilities located at Belvedere Ln. After overcoming the storms, Higher Dimensions has proven to be a ministry with its roots firmly planted in the word of God. Like a tree, we shall not be moved. HDCI has taken it’s ministry back up to a membership of 190+, which includes two Sunday services, and a Mid-Week service called “Power Surge”, which is adding to the growth of the Higher Dimensions Church International Inc. We are the Higher Dimensions Church International where we’re “Exalting the Saviour, Equipping the Saints, and Evangelizing the World!!!”
